Benjamin D’Silva notched up a fine hat-trick to guide Tarun Sporting to a fluent 3-1 win against IC United Club in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel on Monday. Valentino D’Silva got United Club’s lone goal.
In another match of the same division, D.K. Pharma Sports Club overcame Malwani Sports Club by a close 2-1 margin. For Pharma side Amitsingh Labana and Monis Bubere got the goals, while Malwani scored through Joyson Chettiar.
Meanwhile in a Second Division match, Joshua Generation pulled off a narrow 1-0 win against FC Mithagar with Rajesh Yadav netting the decisive winning goal.
