In fact, the first three pointers  in the beginning of the contest, were shot in quick  succession by Pooja  and that appeared to have deflated the Pune girls will to fight.  However, they fought gamely, but then the Bandra girls were more agile and with Priyanka Vegur, who was fast and beat the defenders with speed time and again proved to be the outstanding player, especially in her opponents territory, which earned her the best women’s player award.

Results (Women): Bandra YMCA 47  (Pooja Ajmera 20, Priyanka Vengur 15) bt Deccan (Pune) 34 (Sannvi Ghatge 12, Shreya Upashi 10, Ilina Devadhge 9).
