Bandra Packers Yellow struck great form and blanked Kalina Village Girls 2-0 in an Open Ladies match being conducted simultaneously along with the Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana organized 31st Inter-Parish 5-a-side Rink Football Tournament – 2018 for the Victor D’Mello Trophy and played under floodlights at the gymkhana’s tennis courts.
Packers dominated play and their strikers Signorina Thapa and Pratima Mukhia were bang on target scoring a goal each to complete the win.
Meanwhile in Men’s Open third round matches, St. Vincent Pallotti ‘A, Marol overcame St. Anthony’s ‘B’, Malwani by a fighting 4-3 margin to advance to the fourth round.
In another match, St. Joseph’s ‘A’, Juhu prevailed over St. Francis Xavier, Kanjur Marg by a comfortable 4-1 margin to also progress to the fourth round.

Men’s third round: St. Joseph’s ‘A’, Juhu 4 (Ryan D’silva 2, Abrar Shaikh 1, Deepak Singh 1) beat St. Francis Xavier, Kanjur Marg 1 (Krishna Vijayan).
