Shivam Arora (KG) playing a good and consistent game made two breaks of 53 and 50 during his victory against Ashwin Deshmukh (DG) by 361-136 points in the Group ‘M’ round-robin league match of the SPG-Park Club Billiards Tournament – 2015, which is being jointly organised by the Shivaji Park Gymkhana and Park Club.
Now Arora has won both his games as he had defeated Parag Paithankar (Matoshree) 354-90 with a break of 87 a few days back and is on the top position of Group ‘M’.
In Group ‘F’ league, Yash Rungta (Kandivali) also had a good game and made a break of 66 to score a 209-129 victory against Anil Sagar (Matoshree). This was the second win for Rungta in his two games played.
Nikhil Ghadge (Rly) also won his both games in Group ‘G’ and can now qualify from this group to the next phase. He defeated Hardik Vyas (NIA) 273-129 and earlier he had defeated Dharmesh Mistry (MCF).
Hasan Badami (IG) also recorded a second win defeating Manoj Kasare (KG) 219-173 and certainly will advance to the next round. In his first game he had defeated Vimal Mariwala (Radio). Kasare made a break of 67 but it could not help him to win.
