Apostolic Carmel High School, Mumbai bagged a grand double annexing the girl’s under-14 and under-16 crowns in the All India ISPL (Inter-Schools Premier League) football tournament, organized by The Sports Gurukul and played at the I-Land Ajmera football ground, Wadala.

In the under-14 final, the Apostolic Carmel girl’s walloped Pallavi Model School from Boduppal, Hyderabad by 7 goals to nil to finish as champions. In the under-16 final, Apostolic Carmel senior girl’s played against the same opponents Pallavi Model School, Hyderabad and won the match quite convincingly by 5 goals to 3 to emerge champions.
Hiranandani Foundation School from Thane defeated Mahatma Gandhi International School, Ahmedabad 7-3 in the boys’ under-14 final and lifted the trophy. Thakur Public School, Mumbai scored a 7-1 victory against Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Mumbai to lift the boys’ under-16 trophy.

Boys’ under-14: Hiranandani Foundation School (Thane, Mumbai) beat Mahatma Gandhi International School (Ahmedabad) 7-3.
Girls’under-16: Apostolic Carmel High School (Mumbai) beat Pallavi Model School (Boduppal, Hyderabad) 5-1.
