Amigo FC recorded a grand double, winning the Boys’ Under-16 and Under-18 titles in the Lycans FA and Shivswapna organized Yuva Sena Cup (6-a-side) Football Tournament and played at the Dharamvir ground, Thane (East).
The players of Amigo FC Under-16 and Under-18 are in a jubilant mood as they pose with their certificates and medals after the finals of the Lycans FA and Shivswapna organized Yuva Sena Cup (6-a-side) Football Tournament .
In the under-16 finals, Amigo FC rode on the double strikes from prolific scorer Pranay More to clinch a comfortable 3-1 win against JMD Boys. Krihna Iyer got Amigo’s third goal to secure the triumph. Aditya Desai netted the consolation goal for the losing side. Pranay was later declared as the ‘Best player of the tournament’.
Later in the under-18 finals, a determined Amigo FC scored a late winner to ward off a spirited challenge from Joseph’s Boys and snatch a close 3-2 victory to emerge champions. Sunny Singh, Aman Deep and Pranay More, who did duty for both the teams, scored the goals for the victors, while Joseph’s Boys, who fought hard, scored both their goals through the hard-working Sakib Shaikh, who was later adjudged as the ‘Best player of the tournament’.
Final Results – Boys’ Under-16: Amigo FC 3 (Pranay More 2, Krishna Iyer) beat JMD Boys 1 (Aditya Desai).Player of the tournament: Pranay More (Amigo FC).
