Thanks to opener Aman Khan’s blistering 62 with six sixes and five fours, Bandra Heroes chased down Shivaji Park Warriors’ score of 209 to record their fourth win in the double-leg Mitsui Shoji T-20 League, sponsored by Lal Bharwaney and held at Police Gymkhana ground, here today.
Bouyed by their earlier win over Thane Marathas, Shivaji Park Warriors’ opener Sagar Kerkar hammered an unbeaten 129 with six sixes and 14 fours. He alongwith Akshay Jambekar put on 171 for the second wicket as they ended with 209 for three off 20 overs.
With mountain to climb, Bandra Heroes openers Aman Khan (62) and Shams Mulani put on 71 runs before Aman fell, caught in the deep while going for a big hit.
