Vedant Ghadiya of Vibgyor (Goregaon) put up a fine allround show as he steered his school to six-wicket win over St.Stanislaus (Bandra) to enter the pre-quarterfinals of the B.Khichadia-Khar Gymkhana Suburban schools cricket tournament played at various venue yesterday.
Vedant captured six for 51 as St Stanislaus were bowled out for 116. In reply, the Goregaon school made light of their target with Vedant hitting up an aggressive 72 as they reached their goal with six wickets in hand.Sharing the day’s honour with Vedant was Yashodhan’s Vinay Kunwar who hammered 116 aganst Borivali’s |Don Bosco.
