Alrounder Ayush Jetwa continued his terrific form – both with bat and ball this time – as Swami Vivekanand (Borivali) thrashed their counterpart from Kandivali by 255 runs to move into the quarterfinals of the Khar Gymkhana- B.Khichadia Under-16 Suburban schools cricket tournament, here today.
Ayush, who also has been good run in the Giles Shield, went one better when he smashed 168 in his side’s score of 321 and then captured three wickets for 16 to bundle out the Kandivali sch0ol for 66 runs.
Aditya Anand’s fine bowling (6/14) saw IES Secondary (Charkop) bundled outy for 33. In reply, Dhirubhai Ambani boys were home with 8 wicket spare. Sharing day’s bowling honours with Aditya was Raghav Ramchandran (6/16) as Goregaon’s Lakshadham beat Vibgyor, also from Goregaon by 7 wickets.
