Third seeded Akshat Jain rallied from 0-2 to score a fine 7-11, 7-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-5, 9-11, 14-12 win over sixth seeded Sagar Kature to advance into the sub-junior boys singles semi finals of the MCF-All Mumbai 4-Star Ranking Table Tennis tournament, hosted by Mandpeshwar Civic Federation at their sports complex here at Borivali last night.
In the girls section, top seed Sampada Bhiwandkar dropped a game before she beat Hardee Patel 4-1, while Keisha Jhaveri was taken the distance by Bhoomi Pitale 11-7, 11-8, 16-14, 4-11, 8-11, 13-15, 11-6 to make the last four grade.
