Akash Sharma played a key role by scoring the lone goal in Rizvi Ceramics close 1-0 win against Companeroes SC ‘B’ in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday.
In the second match of the same division, Xavier’s Boys struck good form to register a comfortable 2-0 win over Datta Krida Mandal. Shubham Kadam and Arvind Yadav netted a goal each to help Xavier’s Boys clinch the win and the three points.
