Firing on all cylinders and picking up momentum in the second period Air India Youth team soared to a comprehensive 7-0 victory against Rhema Sports Foundation in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the Goan’s Sports Association ground, Cross Maidan on Sunday afternoon.
Leading the Air India youngsters charge was striker Sumesh Nair who capped a fine hat-trick. Teammate Himanshu Rao chipped in with two goals and Advait Shinde and Adnan Yalikar added one apiece to round off the margin of victory.
