Aditi Sinha bags Triple crown


Young Aditi Sinha bagged her maiden triple crown at the  JVPG Mumbai Suburban District Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, which concluded yesterday.

Aditi First prevailed over Mihika Rohira in the sub Jr. and Girls Singles event and later also went on to register her third win in the finals of Youth Girls singles against Dyuti Patki. Though it was a hectic schedule for her, at the end of the day, she was all smiles, carrying  three trophies  home.

Another youngster Dev Shroff also proved his class, winning the sub Jr. Boys and Jr. Boys Singles finals, to carry home two trophies.

Young Raegan Albuquerque however had mixed luck in this tournament. Though Raegan lost in the semi finals of boys singles to Shivam Das, he managed to reach the finals of Youth Boys Singles and Men’s singles, defeating renowned players.  In the finals of men’s singles, he even managed to take two games from seasoned Eric Fernandes.  The women’s singles final was won by ONGC’s Divya Deshpande, who defeated Charvi kawale in 4 straight games.

 

 

The winners in the cadet and midget group were, Jash Modi, Sampada Bhivandkar, Tanmay Rao and Sana D’souza.
