Kenkre FC riding on the fine efforts of Abbubaker Khan who scored a hat-trick of goals went on to record a 3-0 win against Kalina Rangers Cheddanagar Football Fanatics in a Premier Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2023-2024 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra.
In another Premier Division encounter, Millat FC 0 and Indian Cultural League shared honours as they played out a goalless draw.
Earlier, in a Super Division match, Salsette FC got the better of Mumbai Marines 3-1, with all four goals coming in the second half. Salsette scored their goals through Aniruddh Shringare, Sarthak Shukla and Aryan Negi, while Mumbai Marines struck a late goal through Sahil Rathod.
