‘Aami Goyekar’ a group formed by Goan people from Mumbai, are celebrating their sixth annual Goa cultural and food festival, at Swatantryaveer Sarvarkar Smarak Complex, Shivaji Park, Mumbai. On this occasion, they had organised a musical programme of Marathi songs, which were a tribute to Late renowned poet Mangesh Padgaonkar.

This musical programme titled ‘Sur Anandghan…Sur Omkarghan’ was presented by well known artistes Ajit Parab, Mandar Apte, Amol Patwardhan & Ketaki Bhave Joshi. The programme was anchored by Tushar Dalvi and Sameera Gujar. During the break, the organisers presented the Lifetime Contribution awards to three well known personalities from different fields, like Padmashree Pt.Tulsidas Borkar, Goa Hindu Association Drama Group Founder and Chartered Accountant Ramakrishna Naik & Ashank Desai, founder of IT company MASTEK. Shri Suresh Kare, Chairman Indoco Remedies Ltd; was the chief guest, who felicitated the three dignitaries. Mr. Sanjay Hegde, founder of ‘Aami Goyekar’, was also present on the dais.
The cultural and food festival will conclude on sunday 12th March, with some discussions on healthy living and Cardiac medical camp.
