Hugh Fernandes Academy (HFA) struck good form to register a comfortable 3-1 win against Bharat FC in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday. Strikers Pratesh Pandare, Sukshan Warick and Varde Chavan, all scored a goal each for the Academy side, while Bharat FC reduced the margin of defeat through Richard Thokchum.
In another match, Mubaarak Hunters and Our Lady of Fatima played out a 1-1 draw. Saif Khan scored for Hunters and Fatima scored through Sagar Pandey.
