Central Bank of India dished out another good performance to share honours with Mumbai Customs as they were engaged in a fighting 1-1 draw in an Elite Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the Cooperage football ground, on Friday evening. Both the goals came in the second half.
The Central Bank outfit comprising of some young talented players did well to take the lead through Sharukh Khan in the 54th minute. Customs fought back strongly and managed to score the equaliser through the diminutive and hard-working left winger Deepak Irmali in the 78th minute.
The next Elite Division match will be played between PIFA Colaba and Air India on Saturday, October 2 at 3.00 pm.
Results – Elite Div: Central Bank of India 1 (Sharukh Khan 54th) drew with Mumbai Customs 1 (Deepak Irmali 78th).
