Rakesh Karmakaran and Calvin Barretto, both scored hat-tricks in leading Mumbai FC Under-17 to an emphatic 6-0 win against Athens XI in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Wednesday evening.
In another match, Companeroes SC ‘B’ overcame Mubaarak Hunters by a close 2-1 margin. Somesh Masurkar and Peter Barretto were on target for Companeroes while Soheb Mallik scored for the losing side.
