Apoorva Pawar, a Byculla girl from St. Agnes School, and Sprinter Club’s Akshay Khot were adjudged the best sprinters in their respective sections on the concluding day of the Mumbai City District Amateur Athletic meet, held at the University Stadium , Marines Lines, here. While Apoorva won the 100m gold and was second best in the 200m, Akshat bagged golds in both 100m and 200m events.

Boys-8: Zuhayr Khan (Trackmasters).
Girls U-8: Spanishta Kasad (Spanishta Kasad ).
Boys U-10: Eshaan Shintre (Balmohan-Dadar).
Girls U-10: Vrutika Patel (Walsingham ).
Boys U-12: Neel Pathare (Ace Ath Club).
Girls U-12: Shanaya Irani (Cathedral).
Boys U-14: Tejas Chavan (Don Bosco, Matunga).
Girls -14: Harita Bhadra (Sprinters).
Men/Boys: Akshay Khot (Sprinters).
Women/Girls: Apoorva Pawar (St.Agnes HS, Byculla).
