Mumbai’s Om Todankar bags 3 medals in Aerobics Championship at Nashik


Nine year old Om Todankar student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Powai IIT, Mumbai, has won three medals at the 19th SAFAM Maharashtra State Aerobics Chapionship, which concluded in Panchavati, Nashik recently. This championship which was organised by Nashik Sports Aerobics and Fitness Association( NASFA) was held at Shubham Mangal Karyalay, Panchavati, Nashik.

This championship was held in four different events – Sports Aerobics, Fitness Aerobics, Step Aerobics and Hip Hop. Om who has already won medals at the National level, won 3 medals ( 2 Gold and 1 Silver) in this championship. He won Gold in Duos category, another Gold in Petite ( Group) category and one silver in individual aerobics category. Om is trained by Mr. Shankar Kolte and Ms. Nandini Kolte at the R.A.D.A.V. Anshul Sports Academy, Bhandup, Mumbai.
