MYJ-GM Sports Club were in terrific scoring form and handed JMJ Sports Club a crushing 11-0 defeat in a Premier Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2023-2024 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Tuesday evening.

Displaying good understanding and excellent teamwork, MYJ-GM Sports Club strikers combined effectively to score so many goals and win by a handsome margin against JMJ Sports Club who were unable to defend well and put up a fight.
MYJ-GM Sports after scoring two late goals in the first half went into the break with a healthy 3-0 advantage. They returned stronger on resumption and completely knocked the fight out of their opponents who did not have a clue on how to stop them from scoring eight more goals during the second session.
Strikers Jay Bhavani, Keegan Pereira, Shamer Swamy and Umesh Peramba scored two goals each while Kamran Ansari, Kamlesh Nadar and Allan Dias chipped in with one apiece to complete their massive margin of victory.
Earlier, in a Premier Division encounter, Young Boys FC scored once in each half to record a comfortable 2-0 win against ICL Youngstar. Young Boys dictated play from the outset and took an early lead when Ali Ansari scored the opening goal in the sixth minute. Later, Young Boys doubled their lead through Joy Searwai’s strike in the 68th minute and sealed the win and collected the full three points.
