Iron Born FC came good in the second half and scored twice during this period to overcome Bombay Muslims SC 2-0 in a Premier Division match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2023-2024 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Thursday evening.
After a barren first half, Mohammed Khatib scored the first goal in the 47th minute before Gautham Nair scored the second in the 53rd minute to secure Iron Born’s victory and the full three points.
In another match, fancied Millat FC powered by the brilliance of striker Sunny Koli who slammed four goals and Pawan Singh Rawat’s one goal went on to defeat Protrack Silver Innings by a comfortable 5-2 margin. Silver Innings scored their two goals through Bikas Yadav and Mohit Koli.
