Opening batsman Musheer Khan was in cracking form and played a brilliant innings scoring 113 runs to put Mumbai in a solid position amassing a total of 328 for 5 wickets in 90 overs in the first innings on the opening day of their 4-day first round match against Delhi in the Buchi Babu All-India Invitation Cricket Tournament 2023 and played at Salem on Tuesday.
Musheer batted confidently and sensibly and looked in good nick. He did not play any rash shots and his knock came from 167 balls with 10 sweetly timed hits to the boundary ropes and a solitary six.
Musheer received excellent support for number three bat Prasad Pawar who made 72 runs from 103 balls, including six boundaries and two sixes. Hardik Tamore is batting on 56 runs and keeping him company when stumps were drawn was Tanush Kotian batting on 29 runs when stumps were drawn for the day.
