Consistent goalscorer Brendon Fernandes 88th minute and Athang Kanekar 90+3rd minute got the crucial goals to enable Union Bank of India snatch a win and collect the full three points.
Earlier, Kopana FA charged to a fluent 4-0 win against Springfield FC in a one-sided First Division encounter. Kopana FA combined nicely and strikers Tarshish Lajnez, Amith Nambiar, Suhas More and Roshan Mangela all contributed with a goal each to complete the win.
In another match of the same division, striker Aylmer Rodrugues scored both the goals as Desperadoes FC defeated Offshoots FC 2-0.
