The second seeded pairing of Dipti Paranjpe Purohit and Priya Ambekar toppled the top seeds Deanne Rodrigues and Neesha Spingett to emerge champions in the Women’s doubles (combination 70+) final of the Suhas Nadkarni Memorial Yonex Sunrise Maharashtra State Open Badminton Tournament 2023, organized by the MIG Cricket Club under the auspices of the Maharashtra Badminton Association (MBA), and played at the MIG Cricket Club court later Saturday evening.

In the Men’s doubles (combination 80+) final, Amit Deshpande and Prashant Bahatre prevailed over Kaushik Vartak and Rohit Athaley 21-13, 21-16, while the second seeds Parag Ekande and Siddharth Kishor Patil recorded a hard-fought 12-21, 21-10, 21-16 win against Prashant Bahatre and Yogesh Padukone to win the Men’s doubles (combination 90+) final.
