Bhosale CA win final in thrilling finish


Bhosale Cricket Academy survived tense moments before they stopped the debutants Oxford Cricket Academy’s splendid run by five runs in the  MCC U-14 Talent Search 6-Team final organized by Jwala Sports Foundation at Air India Sports Club ground at Santacruz yesterday. The architect of Bhosale CA’s win was Advait Khandalkar’s run-a-ball superb century (103) with 14 fours. He was well supported by Arjun Lotlikar, who hit an aggressive half century with five fours and two sixes.

Opting bat first, Bhosale CA hit up 212 before they were all out in the last of the allotted 40th over. In reply, the Oxford batters , mixing caution with aggression  kept their heads and at one stage appeared to be heading for victory. But tight bowling by Vihaan Bhagad and Vedant Nirmal saw them fell short by  five runs of their victory target.
