Renowned Table Tennis Players Sagar Kasture, Dr. Nitin Toshniwal & Kapil Kumar won their respective age group league and knock out matches of the Vave City Challenger TT tournament held at PTKS, Vile Parle on Sunday. All three of them have won a free trip with two days hotel stay, during the last two days of WTT Star Contender to be held in Goa next week.

Sagar Kasture won the finals of the U-15 & U-25 Mixed Gender Singles event, defeating Nitesh Kumawat. The two semi finalists in this group were Chinmay Majithia and Amit Agarwal. There were girls like Manik Walia and Shravani Loke who were part of this event in this group and performed well.
In the 45+ event Dr. Nitin Toshniwal, who had come all the way from Solapur, emerged winner after defeating Sharad Sanglekar in the final match. Earlier Sharad had defeated Ravi Chopra in the group league. Ravi along with Vishal Yadav were semi finalists in this group.
There was a good competition in the 60+ age group and all the matches right from the group league were well contested. Kapil Kumar emerged winner in this group defeating Jayant Kulkarni in the finals. Jayant’s elder brother Satish Kulkarni and Anil Rasam were semi finalists. All the Runners up will receive discount of 50% for the Goa trip, while semi finalists will receive 25% discount for this trip.
TSTTA President Yogesh Desai was the chief guest and announced the prizes to the winners after greeting them.
