Bhosale Cricket Academy survived tense moments before they prevailed over MCC “B” by two runs in a high-scoring MCC U-14 Talent Search 6-Team League, organized by Jwala Sports Foundation at Air India Sports Club ground (Santacruz) here today. The architect of Bhosale CA’s win was Aadi Khatri, who made 88 and then bagged three wickets for 33 runs.
Opting bat first, Bhosale CA hit up 234 for five of the allotted 40 0vers.After losing openers early, they were well served by Aadi Khatri(88), Rugved Rane (55) and Vedant Toprani (47). In reply, the MCC “B” openers George Sorrel (59) and Arrush Arora (76) raced to century stand at the halfway stage. After Sorrell’s departure, Arrush and Dhairya Desai took the score to 195 before misunderstanding between two saw Arrush departed. However, the latter batters inched closer to the target butfell short by two runs.
