Lanky Preksha Kolte, from Track & Fielders Master, who ended with sprint triple gold, set a new record in the 100m with a timing of 13.0 seconds, at the end of 3-day of intense competition in the Poinsur Gymkhana-Uttar Mumbai Kreeda Mahotsav Open Athletic championships, organized under the aegis of Mumbai Suburban District Athletics Association , at their Kandivali sports complex here. Preksha eclipsed the 2018-19 timing of 13.2 seconds set by Reshma Gore. Later, she bagged the girls under-16 golds in the 200m and 400m events as well.
The meet, otherwise ended in a glory for the VPM Sports Club, who aggregated 335 pts. to be awarded the over-all championships and their star performers, Rishika Shetty (women) and Khush Shah (men), who were adjudged individual champions.

MEN: Khush Shah (VPM) – 10 pts. BOYS: (U-16): Sahil Satam (Children’s Aca)-)-16 pts; (U-14): Swaraj Gaonkar (Seven Stars), Harshil Khanvilkar (Bunts) and Abhigyan Nikam (Goenka Ed) – 11 pts; (U-12): Devraj Parekh (Pawar Public)- 14 pts; (Goenka Edu)- 16 pts; (U-10): Aarush Parulekar (Kapol Vidyanidhi)-11 pts; (U-8): Francis Joswe (Children’s Aca)- 10 pts; (U-6): Vedant Shah (Children’s Aca)- 8 pts.
