Ronit Fagare slammed four goals in leading Lemon Break FC to a comfortable 6-3 win against Football School of India (FSI) in a high-scoring boys under-13 match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) Yuva President’s League, played at the Neville D’Souza football turf, Bandra on Sunday.
In a keenly contested encounter, Lemon Break looked sharper and capitalized on the openings to hold the advantage. Besides Ronit’s fine efforts the two other goals came from the boots of Viklap Tambe and Simon Cardoz, who was later declared as the ‘Star of the Match’. Football School of India scored through Tristan D’Souza who netted a brace of goals and Sarthak Poharkar got one to put up a good fight.
Later, in a one-sided encounter, CFCI (Community Football Club of India) outplayed IFA (Indian Football Academy) by a clear 9-0 margin. For the winners the goals came through Harsh Dhilad, Ayaan Mhatre and Vedant Manohar, all scoring two goals each, while Parth Talkokul, Vikhyat Pathak and Sairaj Bijam, all chipped in with one apiece.

Soccer School of Excellence 2 (Joshua Kuriakose 2) beat Oranje FC 1 (Arush Mukherjee).
Boys’ U-15: Lemon Break FC 6 (Ronit Fagare 4, Viklap Tambe, Simon Cardoz) beat Football School of India 3 (Tristan D’Souza 2, Sarthak Poharkar).
