Sonali Salvi of Kolhapur has been appointed captain of the Maharashtra women’s team that will participate in the 36th National Games – 2022 to be held at Gujarat from October 1 to 11, 2022.
Sapna Jaiswar of Mumbai has been named as the vice-captain of the 20-member team.
George Lawrence of Mumbai is the coach of the team and the assistant coach is Rutuja Gunwant of Pune. Prithvi Gaikwad of Kolhapur will accompany the team as manager.
The team departed by flight from Mumbai on Friday.
