Set on the backdrop of picturesue Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh, latest released film ‘Cuttputli’ on OTT platform ,is a an action packed psychological crime thriller, which revolves around serial murders of young girls in this beautiful township. Local Police are baffled with the motive behind these killings, when a newly appointed Police Inspector uses his research work as a story writer, to trace the real culprit. He believes more in the mind game rather than the routine investigation to trace the killer.
Aseem Arora’s screenplay and dialogues makes this film more presentable with good direction by Ranjit Tewari. Both Aseem and Ranjit have combined very well while implementing their skills. Actually, it is the suspense filled screenplay which holds you to your seats from beginning till end. Above all, actor Akshay Kumar does very well to present the lead character in a convincing manner. He finds good support from other important artistes like Rakul Preeet Singh, Chandrachur Singh, Hrishitaa Bhatt, Sargun Mehta, Renayee Tejani, Sujit Shanker, Joshua LeClair and others. Rajiv Ravi’s cinematography gives a more presentable look to this film. .
