Eight girls to be offered scholarship as a Gulf Oil-CricketMantras Academy initiative. An open selection trial for women cricketers will be conducted on September 9 (Friday) and September 12 (Monday) as an initiative by Gulf Oil and CricketMantras Academy in Mulund.
Eight girls selected from the trials will be offered a comprehensive
annual scholarship programme. It will include skills development,
strength and conditioning and mental training. They will also be
provided with an opportunity to compete in private matches and
tournaments organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association.
The selection trial is open for all aspiring women cricketers, age
notwithstanding. The trial will be conducted at Offshots Turf, PVR
Building, Nirmal Lifestyles, LBS Marg, Mulund West. Interested girls
are requested to report with their birth certificate and cricket kit
