MCC U-16 and U-19 boys to play in England


MCC (Mumbai Cricket Club), who have produced India players like present Mumbai Ranji Trophy captain Prithivi Shaw and Yashasvi Jaiswal, have taken under-15 and under-19 boys on their three-week tour of England.

Both the teams are captained by Shail Jadhav  and Ayaz Khan who were recently selected for under 23 India camp. The players got an opportunity to practice at  Lords – considered home of cricket –  before they embark on playing 20 odd  matches against all top English schools like Eton college, Harrow Charter House etc.

 The boys are accompanied by prominent coaches like ex-India opener Wasim Jaffer, ex-Mumbai Ranji trophy coach Vinayak Samant and MCC director Jwala Singh and his assistant Harshad Koli.

The players selected are: Shail Jadhav and Ayaz Khan  (Captains), Yash Ramchandani, Aslan Oberoi, Aman  Parikh, Nishant Trivadi, Raj Agarwal  Parth Raut, Atman Goel, Aryan Lahane, Deman Ghorah, Adesh Mahatre, Anand Tiwari, Prajwal Tendolkar, Adil Kagalwala, Rushil Agarwal, Pratik Jaiswal, Shashikant Yadav, Dharya Sangavi, Atharva Nandgave, Subham Gupta, Harinaryan Prashad, Sanath Kerlikar, Kshitij Mankar and Parth Samat.
