Abir Jitani to lead Rajahans Vidyalaya Football team


All rounder Abit Jitani has been named captain of Rajahans Vidayala football team. It may be recalled that for the past 10 years Rajahans Vidyalaya Football has been on the top in Maharashtra. The official announcement of Abir’s name as the captain came from Rajahans Vidyalaya Principal Smt. Kaladevi Gangadharan, in presence of School’s Sports Head Manoj Nair, Mumbai Suburban Softball and Baseball Secretary Tribhuvan Singh, Football Coach Prajwal Chandan and Baseball Coach Vicky Mishra.

Reacting on his appointment as the captain of School’s team, Abir said, “Due to spread of Covid 19 pandemic, we could not practice for the past 3 years. From 7th standard now in the 10th standard, we have entered the ground . So, it is the biggest challenge for our team to maintain our past form . And, we shall do our best.” Rajahans Vidyalaya has already established their supremacy in other sports and their students have already performed at the international level, making good use of their huge playground in 11 acres area at Andheri West. And, this is the biggest gift the students of this school have received to actively participate in sports.
