Abhi Foundation worked hard and managed to eke out a narrow 1-0 win against Republicans Sports Club 1-0 in a league match of the Mumbai Hockey Association Limited (MHAL) organised Mumbai Hockey Championship 2022, the MHAL Stadium, Churchgate on Sunday.
The Republicans outfit put up a determined performance and did well to restrict a superior Abhi Foundation to just one goal, late in the third quarter.
Abhi Foundation who went down fighting to Union Bank of India in their opening match, managed to score the all-important goal through Jaspreet S. in the 45th minute.
Result: Abhi Foundation 1 (Jaspreet S. 45th) beat Republicans Sports Club 0.
