After a gap of two-years, hockey action returns to the city with the Mumbai Hockey Association Limited (MHAL) set to organise the Mumbai Hockey Championship 2022, starting at the MHA Stadium, Churchgate from Saturday, May 14.
All sporting action had come to a standstill due to the lockdown restrictions imposed by the government on account of global Covid-19 pandemic.
Six leading Mumbai teams will be fighting for the top honours in this competition. The participating teams include Central Railway, Republicans Sports Club, Champions Training Centre (CTC), Mumbai Customs, Union Bank of India, and Abhi Foundation.
In the opening match, Republicans SC will take on CTC at 3.00 pm followed by the match between Abhi Foundation and Union Bank of India.
