Aryan Sakpal’s fine century in Bhosale’s 2nd win


 

Aryan Sakpal’s century (109 with 15×4, 1×6)  highlighted Bhosale Cricket Academy’ s thumping 139 runs win over MCC ‘B’ to record their second victory in  the  40-overs MCC Talent Search  under-14  cricket league tie, co-hosted  by Jwala Sports Foundation at  Oval Maidan  here.

Put into the bat, Bhosale top order led by Aryan Sakpal hammered the MCC’s junior string attack to score 298 for six off 40overs. Apart from Aryan’s century, other notable  contributors were Sanchit Kadam (36)and Tanis Setty (34).Vihaan Jin (2/55), and Prem Sawant (2/34) excelled. However, the MCC ‘B’ batters tried hard, but they finished with 159 before they were all out in 39.1 overs.

 

In the other tie, Sanjeevani CA scored  an impressive 3-wicket win over Real CA with Sourish Despande playing a pivotal role, both with bat and ball.

 

In the MCC Pro-40 league, Ayaz Khan hit up  an unbeaten 61 (7×4, 1×6) as MCC (Black) beat defending champions MCC (Red) by three wickets, while MCC ‘Yellow’ defeated Jwala Sports Foundation by 36 runs.

MCC (Red) 150 all out (Suhail Ansari 38, Rishabh Kumar 24; Ismail Kazi n.o. 24; Chetan Wagh 3/13, Zaid Khan 3/24, Vivek Tiwari 2/4) lost to MCC (Black) 151/7 (Ayaz Khan n.o. 61, Sahil Jadhav 36; Vaibhav Singh 3/35) by 3 wickets.
