SachinTendulkar takes India Legends into Finals of Road Safety Series


Sachin Tendulkar still remains the ‘God of Cricket’ for his fans. In the ongoing T20 Road Safety World Cricket Series, the Little Master who leads India Legends, once again proved his class, this time in the semi finals against the Strong West Indies side, scoring brilliant 65 runs in 42 balls. This enabled India Legends to set a strong target of 218 with good support coming from his opening partner Virender Sehwag (35), Mohd kaif ( 27), Yusuf Pathan ( 37 n.o.) and Yuvraj Singh (49 n.o.) .

While chasing this huge target, West Indies opener Dwayne Smith took up the challenge scoring 63 runs to indicate to his team members that victory was possible. He was followed by Skipper Brian Lara with 46 and Devnaraine 58 who almost made the West Indies win possible.  But, the timely strike by Vinay Kumar in the penultimate over taking the two crucial wickets , enabled India to win this close match to find their place in finals to be played on 21st. They will take on winners of Sri Lanka and South Africa Legends match to be played on 19th.
