48 year old Sachin Tendulkar popularly known as God of Cricket and 39 year old Yuvraj Singh the best all rounder the Indian Cricket team had in the past proved themselves still matchless. In their crucial league match played today against South Africa both of them displayed their best while scoring 60 and 53 runs respectively at Rauipur late today evening.
The Road Safety T20 World Series, featuring retired cricketers from India, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Australia and Bangladesh is being played in India. This tournament is organised by the Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra, to raise awareness about road safety.
While India Legends captain Sachin scored his 60 runs off 36 balls, Yuvraj entertained the packed stadium with his towering sixes, with four of them coming in just one over. The crowd response at the Raipur stadium was overwhelming to watch their favourite heroes in action. This also indicated that these veterans were more popular than our present day cricketers.
Though popular former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag failed to click in this match, others who made their presence felt were S.
