Best Known for his portrayal of the character of James Bond in English films , Sir Sean Connery died at the age of 90 today. The Scottish actor, who was seen in seven James Bond Spy Movies, died peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by wife Micheline and sons Jason and Stephane.
His acting career began in 1957 and lasted for five decades. Sir Connery won an Oscar in the year 1988 for his role in the film ‘The Untouchables’. His first James Bond film was ‘Dr. No’ in 1962. Besides ‘Dr.No’, he had performed in six other Bond films, namely ‘Goldfinger’ , ‘Thunderball’, ‘You Only Live twice’, ‘Diamonds are Forever’,’ Never say Never Again’.
