Ashwin emerges fastest swimmer


 

Collegian Ashwin Jaiswar emerged the fastest swimmer  while winning the boys 5kms  run in the one-day Gatway to Sunrock long distance swimming competition, organized by the Swimming Association of Maharashtra under the aegis of Maharashtra Sports And Youth Services, recently.

What was most remarkable feature of Ashwin’s triumph was that his timing  was even better than the men’s winner (Ruturaj Bidkar – 49:33).  The event attracted over 300 swimmers from various districts of the state.
