The Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) has appointed attacking midfielder Bhumika Mane as the captain of the Mumbai team that will participate in the WIFA organized Inter-District Sub-Junior Girls’ Football Championship 2020 to be played at Palghar. Ash D’Silva has been named vice-captain of the 18-member Mumbai team.
The team is accompanied by Chief Coach Preetam Mahadik and Manager Jai Juvekar.
The team was selected after an over two-week long selection trials and training sessions at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra.
Mumbai team which reached Palghar on Tuesday, will take on Nashik in a second round match on Wednesday.
