Striker Anthony Fernandes was bang on target with the lone winning goal which enabled Vision Rescue eke out s narrow 1-0 win against Sara Football Academy in a Second Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday.
Later in the day, Boxers FA got the better of Yeshua FC by a fighting 8-3 margin in a exciting match of the same division. Ajinkya Umasare notched up a hat-trick of goals for the winners while Craig Misquitta got two and Jason Misquitta, Avlon Dias and Maxy D’Souza scored one each. For Yeshua FC striker Hemant Deshmukh scored all the three goals.
