Yash Rawat hit an aggressive 52 with 11 fours to steer Pro-Teamwork Cricket Academy to five wickets win over Abhiveera Boys in their opening contest in the 4-team Super League tie in the MCC U-10 Cricket Tournament 2019, played at Kamat Memorial ground (Shivaji Park), here today.
Put into the bat, Abhiveera Boys could manage to score 136 for three of the allotted 25 overs. Siddhant Jadhav was their top scorer with 36. In reply the Pro-teamwork lost opener Harsh Kadam to the very first ball. But Yash coming at one down was at his attacking best as hit up 52 of 42 balls before he was run out after making well-made half century. They did lose a couple of wickets thereafter when Aryan Pawar fell, But Yash and Agastya Kashikar played good tactial play and mixing aggression with caution to seed their side through with five wickets to spare.
