8-Year- old Agastya shines; Shrihann hits 100


Agastya Kashikar, an 8-year-old boy, playing for  Abhiveera Boys showed good technique with both bat and ball, to help his side beat Sawant Cricket Academy in the second round of the MCC U-10 Cricket Tournament 2019, played at Young Maharashtra ground (Shivaji Park) here today. Agastya scored 38 runs and claimed five wickets in the allotted five overs, while conceding just one run. Agastya trains at MIGCC under coach Jwala Singh for the last  couple of years.

In the other tie played at Kamat Memorial plot,  An unbeaten 100 by 10- year- old Shrihann Haridass  for Chembur’s Achievers Academy highlighted win over  Teamwork Sports Club. Achievers piled up  277 for four, lwhile their opponents  were bundled out for 58.
