The impact of Indian Premier League in the game of cricket has spread to other sports also, including the game of table tennis. Therefore, bigger clubs/ gymkhanas having more number of TT players including ranked players, have started conducting In –house Premier leagues at their respective clubs. And, the response received is very good, with friends and relatives gathering in large number to support their favourite teams. The TT season is already on during this monsoon and we find Garware Club House ( GCH) announcing their Premier Leagues this week end .
The Premier TT league at Garware Club House ( GCH) begins on Saturday 21st July and will conclude the next day. This In House league has attracted entries from ranked and renowned players like Krisha Agarwal, Hiya Doshi, Keisha Jhaveri, Amira Jhaveri, Trisha Dalmia, Siddharth shah, Aryan Singhania,Diyaan Shah, Dwij Shah, Dhruv Jhaveri, Sharad Grower, Raj Jhaveri, Sharan Lekhi, radhika Agarwal, Chand Patel ,Deepak Dudhane and others. Their TT Chairperson is Hina Chedda, Vice Chairman Harshadbhai and sub Committee member Nilesh Sheth.
Their teams are: Ping Pong Masters, Table Turners, * Challenger, Pink Panthers, Butterfly Slicers, Smashing Spinners, Strikers & Smashers & Talented Titans.
