The All India Saraswat Cultural Organisation will felicitate World renowned Neuro Spinal Surgeon Dr. P.S. Ramani by conferring him with the ‘Saraswat Ratna Puraskar’. The function will be held in Mumbai on Saturday 20th July 2019 at 5.15 pm.

Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon. Chief Minister of Goa has agreed to be the chief gust and will be presenting this prestigious award to Dr. Ramani for his contribution to the field of medical science. Many prominent personalities from different fields have agreed to be present for this function. They include Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Padma Bhushan Dr. Nandkishore Laud, Veteran Film personality Ashok Saraf, Chairman of Saraswat bank Mr. Gautam Thakur and president of AISCO Dr. Ajit Gunjikar.
Dr. Ramani now 80 still practices actively and has kept himself fit by regularly exercising and jogging. He is currently the senior neurospinal surgeon at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai and has been practicing He has also written several books on spinal care and has also won many awards for his enormous contribution to this field of neuro-spinal surgery. His biopic in Marathi with actor Umesh Kamat playing his role, is due for release soon.
