Millat FC Colts produced a strong determined performance and managed to pull off a tight 3-2 win against Pro Team FC in an absorbing and interesting Third Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday.
The hero of Millat FC’s win was striker Gaurav Dhamane who scored a brace of goals while substitute Zaifallah Shaikh scored the third to secure the youngsters victory. Pro Team scored through Soham Bhattacharya and Shreyas Anuse.
In another well contested encounter, striker Nihar Jadhav scored twice in the second half to steer Vipul Gorai FC to a 2-0 win against BARC Staff Club in another Third Div match.
In the third match of the day, 7B Star SC proved too good as they blanked Yeshua FC ‘B’ 3-0. Strikers Vaibhav More, Shabbir Shaikh and Amol Kamble 7B Stars win.
