Brillian Sports Academy scored a hard-fought 2-1 win against a determined Regal FC in a Third Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday.
In a keenly contested encounter, Brillian Academy scored through Aman Shaikh and Harsh Ratne, while Regal FC pulled one back through Abhijeet Sonavane.
In another match, CSGM, Curry Road snatched a narrow 1-0 win over Ravens FC, Santacruz. Striker Karan Manjrekar netted the lone winning goal.
Earlier, Shivanshu Pandey struck the decisive winner which helped Soccer Club of Chincholi overcome Football Leaders Academy 1-0 in another match of the same division.
